Dr Patel qualified at Barts and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry and has published researched work as well presented in international meetings. Academic posts include those covering Dermatology, Virology, Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Acute Medical Admissions, Respiratory Medicine, Upper GI Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She has also served as an Honorary Lecturer at Barts and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr Patel has experience of accident & emergency, adult acute medicine and, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology as well as psychiatry.
Dr Patel has also gained a Distinction in her Diploma in Clinical Dermatology as well as in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Age Management Medicine, Medical Cosmetology.
In 2003 Dr Patel was involved in the setting up of a Medical health camp in India offering 2 weeks a year since as complimentary medical advice and treatment to underprivileged communities.
Dr Patel is a member of The Royal College Of General Practitioners, The Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health and The Age Management Medicine Group.
