I am a Consultant Neontal and Paediatric Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Portland Hospital. I trained in Australia and graduated from the University of Newcastle in NSW with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours. I became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons in Paediatric Surgery in 2007 after training in Sydney and London. My first consultant post was at The Childrens Hospital Westmead, Sydney before moving to GOSH where she has worked as a consultant since 2009. I also work at The Portland Hospital in London.I have extensive experience in both the genral surgery of childhoon including hernias and undescended testis and also in more complex procedures including advanced laparoscopic and thoracoscopic techniques

I have a keen interest in laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery. I perform laparoscopic hernia repair, orchidopexy, appendicectomy, fundoplication, gastrostomy, cholecystectomy and splenectomy as well as other advanced procedures in children from birth and from less than 2kg. I am also passionate about neonatal surgery dealing with congenital and acquired conditions including the use of minimally invasive techniques. I am as well as oncology surgery.
