Medical Qualifications

Professor Rosalind Eeles undertook her medical training at the University of Cambridge and St Thomas' Hospital, London. She went on to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1990 and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2000. Prof Eeles completed a PhD in London, in 2000, and recently became a Fellow of the United Kingdom Academy of Medical Sciences, in 2012.

Medical Experience

Prof Eeles is the Leader of several large international prostate genetics studies and is Professor of Oncogenetics and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology and Cancer Genetics, at the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden Hospital. She is a member of a number of professional societies including; European Society of Human Genetics, American Society of Clinical Oncology, The American Society of Human Genetics, The British Association of Urological Surgeons, American Association for Cancer Research and the Cancer Genetics Group UK.

Prof Eeles specialises in cancer genetics and clinical oncology, with a particular interest in Urological matters such as prostate and bladder cancer treatment. She is available for private appointments at The Lister Hospital and Chelsea Outpatients Unit.
