Medical Qualifications

Mr Hugh Byrne qualified in medicine in 1998 from Dublin University and went on to become a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London in 2003. Mr Bryne is a Member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the British & Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons.

Medical Experience

Mr Byrne is a Consultant Gynaecologist at St George's Hospital London and has a particular clinical interest in Laparoscopic, Hysteroscopic and Open Surgery along with Gynaecological investigation and imaging. He has undertaken sub-specialist training in minimal access surgery.

Mr Byrne is available for private patients at the Lister and Parkside Hospitals and can treat most gynaecological issues including pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, menstrual problems, unusual bleeding, problems with intercourse, infections, infertility or subfertility, fibroids, contraception and early pregnancy problems.
