Personal treatment philosophy:
"I believe in treating each patient as an individual. The greatest skill a GP can have is to listen to their patient – be it an adult talking about themselves or a parent talking about their child. I aim to provide the highest standard of primary care and, where secondary care is required, my policy is to refer to those specialists that I would be happy for myself or my family to see and involve the patient in that choice."
Medical Qualifications
Dr Lisa Anderson qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1986 and as a GP in 1991. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds additional diplomas in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecologists.
Medical Experience
Dr Lisa Anderson has been a partner in at the busy Hampstead Garden Suburb NHS Practice in North London since 1993 and in parallel has developed, over the last 10 years, a flourishing Private Practice.
Her Practice was moved to the Wellington Hospital in St John’s Wood in May 2011 and is now based at the Platinum Medical Centre in Lodge Road, the new out-patient facility. On-site diagnostics and specialists mean that same day investigations can take place and often immediate referrals can be arranged.
Dr Anderson is a family doctor and as such sees all ages of patients from babies to the very elderly. She has experience of baby clinics, child immunisations and developmental checks. Her additional interests include diabetes, high blood pressure, stress and depression and she believes strongly in health screening. Dr Anderson is able to conduct consultations in both English and French.
