Medical qualifications

Mr Ben Challacombe completed qualifications at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital (BSc, MBBS), University of London (MS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Urol). He completed a further two years of robotic prostatectomy and laparoscopic training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and subsequently a fellowship at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Medical Experience and Training

Mr Challacombe is currently a Consultant Urologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS trust and also a senior lecturer and surgical tutor at the institute. He sees private patients at London Bridge Urology. His clinical interests include prostate cancer: robotic radical prostatectomy, active surveillance for prostate cancer, trans-perineal prostate biopsy, laparoscopic nephrectomy and robotic partial nephrectomy.
