    Personal treatment philosophy:

"Physical and emotional wellbeing depends on many things and good health is more than just an absence of illness. As such I want to provide every woman with the care that is best for her and that acknowledges and incorporates her experiences as an individual."

Miss Tania Adib is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at Queen's Hospital.

Specialising in early cancer diagnosis, cancer screening, treatment of abnormal cervical smears, vulval disorders and the menopause. She also treats cases of pelvic pain, painful intercourse and irregular bleeding. Miss Adib provides a wide range of treatments for her patients including the non drug hormone replacement therapy (HRT), the use of mindfulness and of course, surgery. Miss Adib performs colposcopy and advanced laparoscopic surgery. She is trained in hysteroscopic procedures which she performs in the outpatient setting or under general anaesthetic.

Management of the menopause, especially in women who have had treatment for a malignancy is a specialty of Miss Adib’s. Patients can book an appointment to see her at the vulva clinic, where she works closely with other specialists. As well as using her medical and surgical expertise to get the best outcomes for women, Miss Adib also advocates an integrated approach to managing the menopause, with both hormone replacement therapy along with lifestyle changes.
