Medical Qualifications

Professor Sina Dorudi qualified in 1983 from St Mary's Hospital Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He went on to complete a PhD in 1995 at the University of London and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1987. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, General Surgery in 1997.

Professor Dorudi undertook further specialist colorectal surgical training in Oxford, London and Sydney.

Medical Experience

Prof Dorudi was a Professor of Surgical Oncology at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals for 14 years and is now a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in full time private practice. His current practice incorporates laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal resections which he carries out frequently. 

Prof Dorudi specialises in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis), laparoscopic colorectal surgery, colonoscopy and general colorectal surgery including surgery for anal fissures, haemorrhoids and anal fistula surgery. He is available for private appointments at The Princess Grace Hospital, London.
