Medical Qualifications 

Miss Rachel Bell completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree at the United Medical Schools of Guy’s & St Thomas’s in 1994. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1998 and went on to complete a master’s degree at the London University in 2005. This was followed by the award of Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, General Surgery in 2005.

Medical Experience and Training

Miss Bell is currently an Executive Council Member of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy, a Member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland and Member of the European Vascular Society.

She is Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery at both Guy’s and St Thomas’s and King's College hospitals. Miss Bell is also Clinical Lead for Surgical Safety and Clinic Champion for Transformation Projects at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals. Miss Bell practises privately as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the London Bridge Hospital.

Miss Bell's main clinical interests are in endovascular aneurysm repair, open repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, treatment of acute and chronic aortic dissection, minimally invasive treatments and open surgical treatments for varicose veins, Carotid Endarterectomy for carotid artery disease and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease.
