David Durand began his career working in management, before gaining impresive credentials as a behaviour management and addictions specialist. He is a highly qualified NLP Practitioner, Coach and Hypnotherapist, and has experience in helping patients overcome addictions in a residential setting.
Mindfulness for Addictions
David Durand also has expertise in Mindfulness, and using these techniques to help patients is an is an important part of his work. He believes in equipping patients with the tools to continue their sobriety long after they have completed therapy and detox.
Much of David Durand's clinical work has been working within alcohol and drug detox units, where he leads groups and one to one sessions for patients recovering from addictions and other behavioural health disorders.

Currently, David Durand is the Behavioural Health Consultant at Serena House, a residential clinic which specialises in addictions.
