Dr Asjid Qureshi, Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes

Medical Qualifications

Dr Asjid Qureshi qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1992 from the University of Edinburgh. He went on to be awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1996. Dr Qureshi completed an Advanced Life Support Provider course in 2005 and went on to undertake specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology and medicine.

He completed a Doctorate of Medicine at the University of London in 2006; and following this he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009.

Medical Experience

Dr Qureshi is a member of the Society for Endocrinology, Diabetes UK, the Royal College of Physicians, the British Medical Association and The Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland.

Dr Qureshi is a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Northwick Park Hospital, Middlesex and the Princess Grace Hospital, London where he is available for private patients. 

Dr Qureshi has a particular clinical interest in general endocrinology and diabetes, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), hirsuitism, hypogonadism, pituitary disorders, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, the parathyroid, adrenal hypertension, dyslipidaemia, obesity, osteoporosis, insulin pumps, hypoglycaemia, calcium disorders, electrolyte disturbances and general internal medicine.
