Miss Tena Walters, Consultant Breast Surgeon

Medical Qualifications

Miss Tena Walters graduated in 1983 from the Medical College of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. She went on to complete a thesis in the study of smooth muscle cell proliferation at the Professorial Surgical Unit at St Bartholomew’s where she was a lecturer in Anatomy and Surgery.

Medical Experience

Since 1996 Miss Walters has been a Consultant in Breast Surgery at the London Breast Clinic, 108 Harley Street and Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup, Kent. In 2002 she became the Lead Clinician in Oncology at Queen Mary’s and was nominated for the Hospital Doctor of the Year Award.

Miss Walters has a particular interest in the family history of breast disease, the effects of Hormone Replacement Therapy on breast tissue, the management of breast pain and the diagnosis and management of breast cancer.

She is available to see private patients at 108 Harley Street, London.
