Mr Ken Anson, Consultant Urological Surgeon

Medical Qualifications

Mr Ken Anson qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of London in 1985. This was followed by a Master of Surgery degree at the same university, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, London.

Medical Experience

Mr Anson undertook specialist urology training at a number of hospitals in the London and Essex areas and was granted the Travelling Fellowship from the British Association of Urological Surgeons and British Journal of Urology. In 1995, he was also awarded the Clifford Morson Prize from the Institute of Urology for his research into laser treatment.

He is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Society of Minimally Invasive therapy, the International Prostate Society and a Council Member of the British Laser Association. Mr Anson has also been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and the Royal Society of Medicine.

Mr Anson is a Consultant Urologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's Hospital, London and is the Queen Mary's University Hospital Chair of the Division of Surgery and Anaesthetics, Theatres, Neurosciences and Cancer. He is available for private patients at Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon London, where he specialises in the treatment of renal stone disease (kidney stones) and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
