Mr Dan Wood, Consultant in Adolescent & Reconstructive Urology

Medical Qualifications

Mr Dan Wood qualified in 1994 with a Bachelor Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in London. This was followed by Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998 and a PhD from the University of London in 2003.

In 2006 Mr Wood was awarded a specialist fellowship in urology from the Royal Collge of Surgeons. He has completed higher surgical training across a variety of areas of urology in a number of hospitals in the London area.

Medical Experience

Mr Wood is a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine, the British Medical Association, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the European Urological Association and was a Committee Member for the International Consultation on Incontinence in 2004 and 2008.

Mr Wood is a Consultant in Adolescent and Reconstructive Urology at University College London Hospitals where he is also Urology Training Programme Director and Clinical Lead of the Acute Surgical Unit. He is an honorary senior lecturer at University College London and Honorary Consultant Urologist at Great Ormond Street and the Royal Free hospitals, London.

Mr Wood specalises in adolescent urology which includes the treatment of incontinence and complex congenital anomalies; he has a particular interest in recontructive surgery for repair and treatment of urological conditions. He is available for private appointments at the Princess Grace Hospital, London.
