Medical Qualifications

Mr Abdalla Fayyad obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of London before undertaking higher training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Manchester. This was followed by a subspecialty fellowship in Urogynaecology, Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Manchester and the USA. Mr Fayyad is a Member of the Royal College of Gynaecologists.

Medical Experience

Mr Fayyad has extensive experience in minimal access surgery and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy. His specialist interests include urinary incontinence in women, vaginal prolapse, heavy menstrual bleeding, endometriosis and pelvic pain.

He currently works as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, Bedfordshire and the Spire Harpenden Hospital, Hertfordshire.
